Collage

The collage work was a daily practice that was a way to get in touch with square one.  What does it mean to begin? What does it mean to meet the open white page?  What does it look like to create rules that actually generate freedom in the creative process?

Rules:

1. Sit with breath practice (10 mins min)

2. Choose random newspaper section. Don’t read it!

3. Images and text in any form ok to use (no text required)

4. Collage must be landscape. It can be single page or across pages

5. Collage must include a blind contour drawing

6. Collage must be completed in one hour or less.

7. No comparing!

8. First thought – Right thought!

9. Share it with someone.
